With 10 years of experience, of which 8 years in consulting, Michiel has been involved and lead many projects on these topics in different industries.

Throughout his experience he has learned that the human factor is essential to get buy-in and drive the change when defining and running a data governance programme. Anticipating on this has become an important element of how Michiel tackles his data governance projects.

Tim Scott (Argenta)

Tim Scott is programme manager at Argenta of a large transformation/replatforming programme related to data management and reporting. His responsibilities range from day-to-day follow up of the progress of the various projects, follow up on the overall risks, managing the interdependencies and safeguarding the priorities and timelines.

Koen Verheyen is Technical Solutions Architect at Argenta. As BI/DWH consultant, Koen has been involved in all steps of large business intelligence projects (scoping, design and architecture, development, testing and move into production). Koen has experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), Oracle Data Integration (ODI), telecommunications datawarehouse development and overall data warehouse management.

Cédric Charlier is a talented architect and Data Platform MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional), initially active in the domain of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing. Ronald D.W. Kok a Dataliberator ('Dataverloskundige'), founder of Scamander - The Data Liberation Company, a Netherlands based consultancy firm started in 1998 with a focus on business intelligence, data governance and analytics.

Ronald started his career in 1985 as a trainer and consultant on data modeling and database management at Oracle Corporation. Ronald and his Scamander colleagues consulted 150+ large companies in improving their dataflow with a minimal effort and optimal control. Ronald is a strong supporter of the non-invasive data governance approach of Robert S. Seiner. Kasper Kisjes (Rijkswaterstaat)

Kasper Kisjes is a Senior Advisor Data Quality and Big Data Management, and member of the CDO team at Rijkswaterstaat.

Rijkswaterstaat is part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, and responsible for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the main infrastructure facilities in the Netherlands.

Christoph Balduck is a Managing Partner at Data Trust Associates, a company that offers Data Privacy, Data Protection and Information Management services.

Before that, he held the position as Practice Lead for master data management, data privacy and data protection (DPO) at Inpuls. Michael Olschimke (Scalefree)

Michael Olschimke has more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology. During the last eight years he has specialised in Business Intelligence topics such as OLAP, Dimensional Modelling, and Data Mining. He has consulted for a number of clients in the automotive, insurance, banking, and non-profit fields. His work includes research on massively parallel processing (MPP) systems for building artificial intelligence (AI) systems for the analysis of unstructured data.

After realizing the value of Data Vault 2.0 to the business intelligence industry, he partnered with Dan Linstedt to distribute the knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 within the industry. Michael holds a diploma (FH) from the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen (Germany) and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley, California. Michael is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Scalefree, where he is responsible for the business direction of the company.

Ivan supports organizations in their data strategy but also in the real implementation of data warehouses, dashboards and KPI's. His highlights from the past decade include: setting up and rolling out company wide data governance organizations and revamp data warehouses using Data Vault.

He has a vendor neutral approach and is speaker on international conferences and driver of several user communities in the Benelux area.

Steve Hoberman taught his first data modeling class in 1992 and has trained more than 10,000 people since then, spanning every continent except Africa and Antarctica.

Steve is the author of ten books on data modeling, including the bestseller Data Modeling Made Simple. His latest book, Data Modeling for MongoDB, presents a streamlined approach to data modeling for NoSQL solutions. One of Steve's frequent data modeling consulting assignments is to review data models using his Data Model Scorecard® technique.

He is the founder of the Design Challenges group, Conference Chair of the Data Modeling Zone conference, recipient of the 2012 Data Administration Management Association (DAMA) International Professional Achievement Award, and highest rated workshop presenter at Enterprise Data World 2014 and 2015.
